Ugg Boots Concern For Animal Rights

Ugg boots are made of sheepskin, which means that the sheep needs to be slaughtered in order to extract the sheepskin. For the last 10 years starting in 2000, the Ugg boots have come under tremendous criticism from the animal rights movement. In fact a group was specially formed that wanted people to stop wearing the Ugg boots. They asked people to wear shoes that were made of alternative material.

Traditional Ugg boots including the womens Ugg boots are made from the skin of the sheep. The wool is processed to make the leather and the boots upper part is manufactured where the fleece is kept on the inside. The soles are made from rubber, though the soles of many boots are also manufactured from synthetic material. The fleece works as a natural thermostat and helps to keep the feet of the wearer warm and moisture free. They registered their complaint by doing an on campus protest in February 2008. Both make and female students lay down in the snow and wore coats that were covered in fake blood. They also held signs that read What if you were killed for your coats. This boycott drew attention to the animal rights movement against the Ugg boots.

Joseph Hundeby loves keeping pets and considers them to be a part of his family. He has an earnest love for animals and is concerned about their welfare. For him, animals are special creatures that deserve a great deal of love, care and attention. He has had many different types of pets in his life and he has raised over 14 breeds of dogs including blue sharpie, Doberman pincher, peek-a-pooh, Chow-chow, dachshund, German shepherd, Chihuahua, Great Dane, Dalmatian, boxer, Lhasa Apso, Labrador Retriever, Irish Setter, American Bull Dog, Miniature Pincher, Rat Terrier, Jack Russell, Collie, Egyptian Saluki, and Afgan Hound. He also has a cat named Rosy. He has learned many lessons from his pets and has truly taken all responsibility for them. He says that pets can change a person’s world view and help them in becoming compassionate and humble. Having a pet can be the greatest stress reliever and it can boost a person’s quality of life by a great degree. >

In addition to being a pet lover, Joseph Hundeby is passionate about his hobbies and interests. He is a frequent traveler and has spent quality time with family in traveling across the globe. He has visited places like Canada, Bulgaria, Alaska, Mexico, Nebraska and others. His favorite vacation spot is Mexico where he enjoys visiting the cities of Cancun and Puerto Vallarta. Donkey Stuffed Animal

With the release of the movie Shrek in 2001, followed by Shrek 2 in 2004, Shrek the Third in 2007, along with the soon to come Shrek Forever After, donkey stuffed animals did and will again, fly off the shelves. Given the popularity of Donkey, Shrek’s sidekick and best friend, it’s no surprise that children are drawn to donkey stuffed animals. Of course, donkey stuffed animals are not limited to just Donkey from Shrek, but he is certainly lots of fun and as a result makes a very worthwhile donkey stuffed animal to have.

The actual donkey started being used by humans around 3000 BC as work animals to carry things from one place to another. Donkey’s were also used for riding and to help plow fields. Unlike horses, donkey’s are much more of an all terrain animal, thus can handle even the most difficult types of areas for walking. Also unlike horses, they are not as easily spooked by loud noises and the like. When one thinks of donkey’s, their penchant for stubbornness likely comes to mind, but it’s not being stubborn that is their issue they have a keen sense of their own well-being and safety, so they won’t do anything that jeopardizes it. Donkey’s are quite independent and will reason things out and then make a decision based on how safe it is for them.

Donkey’s come in all sizes and colors from the Miniature Mediterranean which stands under 36 inches, to the Mammoth Jackstock which can be 14 hands high or taller. Their coloring ranges from shades of gray to brown, black, and even albino-white. If your interest lies in a donkey stuffed animal of Donkey from Shrek, his coloring is quite simple: he’s a light gray.

Another popular donkey character is Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. His lives in the the southeast corner of the 100 Acre Wood in an area designated as Eeyore’s Gloomy Place. Eeyore is lovable but always gloomy and thinks his lot in life is rather dismal. He is gray-blue in color and has a distinctive pink bow attached to the end of his tail. His tail is fodder for many of the Winnie the Pooh stories, as it’s constantly falling off which ultimately brings Christopher Robin to his rescue – he finds Eeyore’s tail and re-attaches it. Eeyore is another popular donkey stuffed animal and some of them have been made amazingly well to resemble him. And one things for certain: after a few hugs from a loving friend, a donkey stuffed animal of Eeyore will be gloomy no more!

A donkey stuffed animal of either Eeyore or Donkey, will undoubtedly brighten the darkest day. Any child would be privileged to have one or the other (or both) and there’s no doubt they will love and care for them as much they would any other plush toy.
